Lees-McRae College Theatre Arts to perform children’s musical, “A Year with Frog and Toad”

The Lees-McRae Theatre Arts department presents its latest production, the children's musical, “A Year with Frog and Toad.” Based on the beloved children's books by Arnold Lobel, the musical follows cheerful Frog and grumpy Toad as they get into mischief, learn life lessons, and celebrate the things that make them unique.

The musical will be directed by Program Coordinator for Theatre Arts Michael Hannah, and Instructor of Theatre Arts Kathleen DenBleyker will act as music director of the jazzy score.

There will be two evening performances of the show at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24, and two matinee performances of the show at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26. All performances will be in Hayes Auditorium on the college’s North Campus.
