School of Education and Social Sciences

Graduates from the School of Education and Social Sciences have one major commonality: a strong desire to serve others. Each of our programs in this school will teach you about the various challenges facing different populations, then equip you with the tools to solve those problems. The classes offer a combination of theory and practical experience that give students the skills they need to make a difference for children, families, individuals, and communities.

Mock Crime Scene

Crime Scene Simulation

Students in the Criminal ustice program participate in an annual demonstration that simulates a real crime scene. Each student is assigned a role—patrol officer, investigator, witness, family member—and must work together to correctly process the scene. The experience allows students to directly apply the skills and principles learned in the classroom.
