About Summer Theatre

COVID-19 Policies

While inside our facilities, masks will be required for non-vaccinated individuals. Masks are encouraged when in close proximity to others, regardless of vaccination status. If you’re feeling ill, do not come to the performance. Please call our box office and we’ll be more than glad to exchange your tickets.

We’re keeping our audiences safe by requiring masks for non-vaccinated individuals, cleaning all areas between performances, reducing our audience sizes, and socially distancing all patrons.

*These protocols are current as of June 29, 2021. They are subject to change as mandates and policies are updated.

Lees-McRae Summer Theatre is committed to producing quality theatre experiences.  We serve audiences who view our productions, students who are training in their craft, and we serve the High Country community as collaborators for the betterment of our area.

  • Provide quality productions using professional, community and student performers.
  • Educate audiences about the value of theater as a reflection of humanity.
  • Educate practitioners in the field of performing arts.
  • To provide a positive and collaborative relationship between the college and the community.
