Summer Theatre Audition Information

All roles for the 2026 Season have been filled! We are seeking stitchers, a shop foreman, and technical crews for the various productions. With interest, contact Janet Speer at speerj@lmc.edu.

Each summer, Lees-McRae Summer Theatre brings together talented performers from our local community and across the country to create unforgettable theatre in the High Country.

Performers are hired in one of two categories:

• Professionals: Artists who have completed undergraduate training or possess significant professional experience.
  
• Performance Interns: Current undergraduate students selected for our paid internship program.

All performers receive compensation, and housing and meals are provided for those coming from outside the Banner Elk area.
